Regional Centres Growth Plans
The Wheatbelt Development Commission, in partnership with LandCorp and local reference groups are producing three Regional Centre Growth Plans in the following regional centres:
- Narrogin (Town of Narrogin, Shire of Narrogin, Shire of Cuballing)
- Moora/Dalwallinu/Wongan Hills (analysis on how these three towns operate as a unit, each having different strengths but being similar in makeup)
- Merredin
The process, modelled on the SuperTowns Regional Growth Centre Planning and Avon Sub-Regional Economic Strategy, is designed to provide a high level understanding of the economic and population drivers that will facilitate growth and attract government and private investment over the next fifty years.
