Wheatbelt receives vital funding for airports

The Wheatbelt has secured $264,207 in funding for regional and remote airports through the Regional Airports Development Scheme (RADS). The funding scheme is delivered by the Department of Transport. 

Funding will assist the completion of various projects including planning, patient transfer facilities and upgrades to runways and parking areas. The following airports received funding;

The Wheatbelt has more than 54 airports and airstrips, continued investment through funding streams such as RADS supports and assists to develop the aviation industry within the region.
