Twenty-one Wheatbelt local government authorities and Community Resource Centres (CRCs) have received funding from the McGowan Government’s Regional Traineeship Program to develop workforce skills and grow job opportunities.
For the first time the program was expanded to include regional local governments that don’t have a CRC in their area. Applicants were able to apply for up to $30,000 to provide local training, skills and employment opportunities.
The following Wheatbelt organisations were announced as successful applicants on 16 April 2019.
