Community Resource Centres (CRCs) and eligible local governments are encouraged to apply for up to $30,000 in traineeship funding.
Funding will support skills development across the Wheatbelt and allow CRCs and local governments to provide necessary training, skills and employment opportunities in their area.
Local governments that do not have a CRC will also be able to apply for funding to support vocational education training.
Eligible organisations have been invited to lodge a grant application for the funding, with applications closing on 25 February 2019.
"The McGowan Government recognises the importance of providing training, skills and employment opportunities for people to encourage them to stay and work in their local regional community” said Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan.
