Regional Grants Scheme

The Minister for Regional Development, Hon Terry Redman, and the Wheatbelt Development Commission are pleased to announce the 2014/15 $1.1M Royalties for Regions Wheatbelt Regional Grants Scheme (WRGS) and the $370,000 Community Chest Fund (CCF).

Wheatbelt Regional Grants Scheme (WRGS)

Applications for WRGS funding close at 4.30pm, Thursday 11 December 2014. Grants are from $20,001 to $300,000.

Community Chest Fund (CCF)

CCF funding is for projects up to and including $20,000. CCF applications may be submitted at anytime until all monies are exhausted. It is recommended that you check the status of grant monies prior to making an application by calling the Commission on (08) 9622 7222.

“Royalties for Regions has a strong focus on supporting local-decision making and these grants will fund strategic region-specific priorities that are driven by local communities,” Hon Terry Redman, Minister for Regional Development, said.

“The funds will improve services and grow prosperity in regional WA, contributing to the development of resilient communities and sustainable, vibrant regions,” the Minister said.
