Northam Balloon Fiesta is one of Australia's best events

The Northam Balloon Fiesta has put Northam on the map after being named as a finalist at the 2018 Australian Event Awards.
The event was announced as WA State Finalist for Best Regional Event at the awards ceremony held in November. Although not a category winner, it was fantastic exposure for the Fiesta and the Shire of Northam. Congratulations to the organising committee and the Shire of Northam for all their work in coordinating, marketing and implementing best practice events management. The Fiesta attracted over 10,000 attendees and was the opening event for the National Ballooning Championships 2017.
The Australian Event Awards and Symposium is the national awards program and conference for the Australian events industry. It fosters excellence, innovation and unity. The Awards program is the only opportunity for Australian event professionals to compete nationally, and across all facets of the industry, to showcase Australia’s best events and event-related goods, services and innovations.
