New Board Appointments

Minister for Regional Development, Hon Terry Redman MLA has re-appointed Tim Shackleton as Chair, Karin Day as Deputy Chair, Carmel Ross as a ministerial representative, and changed Leigh Ballard’s current appointment to the Local Government position.

Ms Heidi Cowcher and Ms Leslee Holmes have been appointed as new Community members, and will bring a range of skill sets to the Board who provide essential strategic development guidance for the Wheatbelt region.

Ms Heidi Cowcher lives and works in the Williams area. Ms Cowcher is a current board member of the Regional Development Australia Wheatbelt and is heavily involved in a range of community groups.

Ms Leslee Holmes is a resident of Cervantes. Ms Leslee Holmes brings extensive experience in local government and as a small business owner.  Ms Holmes has firsthand knowledge of the opportunities for growth in the region.

“I welcome the new board members, who with the re-appointment of the current board members, will continue to bring a diverse set of skills and strong regional knowledge,” said Chair Tim Shackleton.
