Major works recently completed by the State Government in Dalwallinu to build a new, larger concrete water storage tank will improve the town’s water supply.

The $8.1 million infrastructure investment has enabled the Water Corporation to store water and provide more consistent water pressure to the 350 residents and businesses in the town. The new water supply has been connected to the existing water scheme by 2.2 kilometres of underground main.  The tank is equipped with two new booster pump stations.

About 25 Western Australian workers were involved in the project, including locals employed by the three Dalwallinu businesses awarded contracts. "The new water tank, two pump stations and pipeline will provide the Dalwallinu community with greater security of supply for generations to come.” Said Minister for Water, Hon Dave Kelly.
