Board Membership - Call for Nominations
Vacancies exist for appointments to the Board of the Wheatbelt Development Commission for two Community representatives.
The Commission is seeking nominations from highly motivated and enthusiastic people, who can demonstrate the following:
- Understand key issues impacting the development of the Region;
- Demonstrate involvement in either the economic, and/or social development of the Region; and
- The ability to work cooperatively to achieve agreed goals across a wide range of issues and stakeholders.
People may nominate themselves or others, organisations may also nominate individuals. In accordance with the Regional Development Commissions Act 1993, nominees for the community vacancy must be people that reside in the Wheatbelt region.
Terms of appointment will be from one to three years.
The Minister for Regional Development, Hon Alannah MacTiernan MLC will make the appointment to the Board after consultation with WA State Cabinet.
The closing date for nominations is at 4pm on the 1st May 2019.
