The historical town of York in the beautiful Avon Valley was the location of choice to launch the Avon Valley Motorcycle Friendly Region at the Premiere Productions’ 2017 York Motorcycle Festival.

Avon Tourism members and key contributors involved in the regional collaboration took centre stage to showcase the new initiative in the Shires of Beverley, Chittering, Goomalling, Northam, Toodyay, Victoria Plains and York.

The project was made possible through a $16,180 grant from the Wheatbelt Development Commission’s 2016 Royalties for Regions Community Chest Fund. Cully's Yamaha supplied notice boards and the Shires provided the installation of road signage and notice boards.

There are over 70 participating venues in the Region including eateries, accommodation and attractions.  The route is branded by Avon Valley road signs and pocket maps are available from participating businesses and information centres.

So what are you waiting for? Jump on “Two Wheels” and experience the Avon Valley.  For more information visit the Facebook Page here…
